Key findings

The annual report concerns the police's rgeistration of the overall number of hatecrimes in Denmark for 2021. The report notes that there has been a decrease in the number of racialized motivated hate crimes on 29 % (from 360 cases in 2020 to 254 in 2021). Racially motivated hate crimes constitutes the majority of hate crames (254 cases out of a total of 521). Of the 164 crimes registered as religouslly motivated, 63 cases was specifically registered as related to Islam.
